AMAN’S PIANO STUDIO

Thanks for your interest in music lessons! I offer my experience as a performing pianist, active collaborator, composer, and student of music, to help shape your learning path and artistry.

Based in Bangalore, I am an internationally active pianist, composer and teacher with two decades of professional experience in the areas of world music, jazz, and contemporary improvised music. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2007, and have since been a returning faculty member at the Global Music Institute (India).

Teaching has been a rewarding aspect of my career, allowing me to contribute to India’s music scene at a roots level. Most of my students are intermediate/professional musicians, seeking to expand their musical horizons through a deeper understanding of harmony, rhythm, improvisation, and global musical influences.

The focus will be on expression through creative, interactive music, for which we’ll explore fundamentals along with contemporary/jazz repertoire.
